Celebrating those who labor
As the end of August nears, so does the coveted three-day weekend vacation of Labor Day which historically marks the end of summer. Despite this holiday becoming a vacation day focus for many, at the root of it is the celebration of American workers and their contribution to our country.
Unfortunately, for some, work is not something they celebrate. We all know people who say, “I go to work every morning and I endure it. I’m just there for the paycheck.” Perhaps you are one of them. I even know some retired people who are frustrated with what they do in their current life situation.
When I think of people like that, I think how fortunate I am. I thoroughly enjoy what I do now as well
