Chamber hosts community clean-up at the Eco Park

Following an early Friday Arbor Day tree-planting ceremony, members of the community gathered inside of the Monticello/Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce building in preparation for a community clean up. A small gathering was held, and hot chocolate and warm donuts were offered to everyone as they settled in their seats for a brief, pre-clean-up meeting. Theresa Sterling, executive director for the Chamber of Commerce, welcomed several families to the meeting, as well as three special guests, who took an opportunity to speak to the room.
