Chamber luncheon to hightlight business development strategies

After a break for the Fourth of July, the Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce resumes its monthly members' luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at noon, at the First Methodist Family Ministry Center, located at 325 W. Walnut St.
Tangela Lofton, the regional director for the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC), is scheduled to speak. The center for northwest Florida is hosted by Florida A&M University (FAMU) and works with existing and startup small businesses to help them grow and compete in today’s global economy.
