Chamber of Commerce annual dinner celebrates being “In It Together”

The Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Business Dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Members and their guests packed the Perkins Banquet Hall of the Monticello Opera House for a festive evening of business mixed with pleasure that began with cocktails and appetizers at six. The 2023 Watermelon Queen, Lena Sullivan, greeted the guests as they arrived.
An hour later, Chamber President Roger Champion gave the official welcome and called the meeting to order. The first item of business was the Annual Report, given by Executive Director Katrina Richardson.
