Citizen persists in effort to get street paved

The Monticello resident has been conducting a one-man campaign for about five years to convince city officials to approve the paving of Jackson Street near his residence. After a long absence, Clayton has again begun regularly attending Monticello City Council meetings to press his request, often recording the exchanges on a tripod-mounted cell phone for documentation and later reference.
