City manager’s performance twice questioned

Two times in recent weeks, the issue of City Manager Seth Lawless’ performance has come up at Monticello City Council meetings without the topic receiving a full airing. The first time it came up was at a special meeting of the council on Thursday morning, April 25. Councilman Brian Bachmann brought up the topic, saying that he wanted to delve into whether city business was being conducted proactively or reactively.
