City narrows search for manager to five candidates

Lazaro Aleman ECB Publishing, Inc. The Monticello City Council last week narrowed its search for a new city manager to five candidates, following a workshop on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 21. Guided by consultant Mark Ryan, a retired city manager and adviser for the Florida City/County Management Association (FCCMA), the council members spent about two hours in the process, culling the field of 22 applicants down to the five selected.
