City planners look to update development regulations

The Monticello Local Planning Agency (LPA) has more or less devised a plan of action for how it will tackle the changes that it wants to recommend be made to the city’s land development regulations to better protect the city’s unique charm and historic character. On Thursday evening, March 14, the LPA held a general discussion on how some of the existing regulations may be clarified or beefed up to accomplish the group’s stated goals relative to the zoning and land-use regulations.
