Comissioner Ben White hosts linemen and first responder cookout

Kenzie James ECB Publishing, Inc. Jefferson County Commissioner Ben White hosted a linemen and first responder appreciation cookout earlier this month. White, the District Five Commissioner on the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners, worked with Ryan Flynt, Bradley Williams, Eric Cheshire and Justin Bradley to put the cookout together. White said the idea for the linemen appreciation cookout began after the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia in September of 2023, but plans didn't line up until this spring.
