Committee formed to review city charter

Lazaro Aleman ECB Publishing, Inc. Monticello now has a newly-formed committee that is tasked with reviewing the city charter with an eye toward making revisions if necessary, which changes would require council approval, and ultimately, voters’ approval. The committee, which the council established on Tuesday, March 4, consists of five members, one each selected by a council member.
