Community flag football season underway!

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. It's Flag Football Season in Jefferson County, and the local rec park is already hosting games! For those who may not know, flag football is a variant of American football where, instead of tackling players on the opposite team in order to gain possession of the ball, players must swipe a flag or flag belt from the opposite player. Flag football was first played in 1940, over 80 years ago, but the first game of this season took place on Oct. 12.
