The annual Community Holy Week Services sponsored by the Jefferson County Ministerial Association will resume this year in the Family Ministry Center of First United Methodist Church of Monticello to allow for social distancing.
The half-hour services will start each day at 12 noon Monday, March 29, through Friday, April 2. Each service will feature a different local pastor sharing the message and will be followed by a grab and go lunch which people can take with them or eat in.
Pastor Ken Turner of Cody Pentecostal Holiness Church will share the message on Monday, March 29, assisted by Pastor Jonathan Brewster of First United Methodist Church of Monticello. Monticello Ministries will provide lunch.
Pastor Ron Cichon from Miccosukkee United Methodist Church will share Tuesday’s message, assisted by Pastor Jered Day of First Baptist Church of Lloyd. First Baptist Church of Lloyd will provide lunch.
On Wednesday, March 31, Pastor Jonathan Brewster of First United Methodist Church of Monticello will share the message, assisted by Pastor Sean Vickers of First Baptist Church of Monticello. First United Methodist Church will provide lunch.
Father Steve Pessah from Christ Episcopal Church will share with us on Thursday, assisted by Pastor Eddie Yon of the Restored Glory Christian Center. First Baptist Church of Monticello will provide lunch.
Good Friday’s message will be shared by Pastor Dr. Bob Kuschel of New Hope Church of God. Pastor Ron Cichon from Miccosukee United Methodist Church will assist. PJ and friends will provide the lunch.
All are invited to come and share together as we come together for these special community Holy Week services.
