Constitutional officers take oath of office

Five newly elected or reelected constitutional officers and their spouses, children, relatives, friends and supporters gathered in the old courthouse courtroom on Monday morning, Jan. 6, for a ceremonial oath-taking by each of the officials.
Presiding over the brief ceremony and administering the oath of office to each constitutional officer was Judge Bobby Plaines, who has performed the duty going on nearly three decades.
