Correction

In the August 12, 2026 issue of the Monticello News, an article was published with the headline “VFW Post 251 and Ladies Auxiliary celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary”. The VFW Auxiliary was referred to throughout the article as “Ladies Auxiliary.” However, this organization's name has been “VFW Auxiliary” since 2015. The News regrets this error.
