Councilman Jones recognized for continued education in public service

Lazaro Aleman ECB Publishing, Inc. Monticello Councilman John Jones was recently awarded the Gold Level Certificate of Excellence by the Florida League of Cities (FLC) in recognition of his commitment and dedication to continued education and training. Jones’ name, along with others of the certificate winners, is scheduled to appear in the Fall/Winter issue of Quality Cities Magazine, along with more information about the program. The awards are presented to local elected officials who in the view of the FLC diligently serve their cities and constituents while confronting the many challenges of office and navigating the ever-changing landscape of state and federal laws and regulation
