County increases building and planning permit fees

Property owners, developers and others involved in construction and sundry related development projects that require building or planning permits will find that the cost of doing business just got a little higher, due to a revised fee schedule that county officials approved recently. On Thursday evening, Aug. 20, the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners, at the request of Building Inspector J. T. Ward and Planning Official David Wheeler, adopted by
