Jefferson County now has a hierarchical organizational chart of its operations and the established lines of command, a longtime goal of officials.
County Manager Shannon Metty presented the chart to the board at a recent meeting, noting that it provided a formalized chain of command based on normal day-to-day operations of the departments, as required in the earlier adopted Manager Ordinance.
