County officials reaffirm rejection of two proposed multi-use trails

Two proposed bike/multi-use trails that county officials rejected a while back – one along U.S. 90 from Leon County to Monticello and the second along an old railroad right-of-way from U.S. 90 to the Georgia line – have resurfaced.
A flyer making the rounds underscores that the state will pay for the trail from Tallahassee to downtown Monticello and urges residents to attend the commission meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, to voice support for the measure.
