County renews contract for legal services

Lazaro Aleman ECB Publishing, Inc. The Jefferson County Commission recently voted to extend the contract of its county attorney for another year, inclusive of a three-percent cost of living increase. This means that Attorneys Heather Encinosa and Evan Rosenthal, of the law firm of Nabors, Giblin and Nickerson (NGN), will remain Jefferson County’s legal representatives for at least another year. The agreement was set to expire on June 30, 2024. The extension carries it through June 2025.
