County returns $50,000 recreation grant

Local officials recently rescinded a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Grant (FRDAP) Agreement between the county and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), giving up $50,000 in the deal. The reason for the cancellation of the agreement was that the county was unable to complete the project by the April 30 deadline specified in the grant.
