Court awards county $1M-plus in restitution from Reams, Culp and McNeill

More monies possibly to be awarded to county Lazaro Aleman ECB Publishing, Inc. Jefferson County will be receiving a little more than $1 million in restitution, stemming from misappropriations and other financial shenanigans associated with the former clerk of court office, according to a judicial hearing in Tallahassee last week. The hearing, held on Monday, Jan. 13, before Circuit Court Judge Stephen Everett in the Leon County Courthouse, was to determine how much money was owed to Jefferson County by defendants Kirk Reams, formerly the clerk of court; Warren Charles Culp, the office’s finance director and a financial consultant; and Justin Tyler McNeill, the office’s former huma
