Cowboys defeat Tigers

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, the Tigers of Jefferson County High School hosted the Madison County High School Cowboys varsity basketball on the hardwoods of the Jefferson County K-12 School gymnasium. The Cowboys dominated the contest, taking a 74-19 win back home. The Cowboys built a 25-6 lead in the first quarter, and by halftime, that lead had grown to 45-10. The second half of the contest moved quickly as the Cowboys continued to outscore the Tigers until the final buzzer. The Tigers will be back on their home court on Tuesday, Jan. 30, when they face the Eagles of North Florida Christian School. Tipoff for the varsity game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. &
