Crash leaves one with serious injuries

Laura Young  ECB Publishing, Inc.  On Saturday, April 26, at approximately 10:45 p.m., a two-car crash on I-10 near Hwy. 59 in Jefferson County resulted in a 32-year-old Monticello man being seriously injured. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report indicates that for no apparent reason he stopped the sedan he was driving in the outside westbound lane of I-10. The driver of the other vehicle, a 32-year-old Orlando woman, attempted to avoid colliding with the stopped sedan, but the right front of her sport utility vehicle struck the rear of the sedan. The collision caused the sedan to spin off the roadway, overturn, hit a tree and come to rest in an upright position. The SUV rotate
