Culp enters plea in felony case

Warren Charles Culp, formerly a finance consultant and finance director in the Jefferson County Clerk of Court Office, entered an open plea before Second Circuit Court Judge Stephen Everett in Leon County on Monday morning, Dec. 11.
Culp, 52, is charged with organized scheme to defraud and grand theft. As part of the open plea, sentencing was deferred, and a condition imposed that he testify against his two codefendants.
