Deadline for filing property exemptions is March 3

The property appraiser’s office (PAO) is reminding property owners and others who may be seeking a reduction in their property taxes that the time to apply for exemptions is drawing near. Per the PAO website, the deadline for applying for exemptions is Monday, March 3, which is two days later than usual because the traditional March 1 deadline falls on a Saturday this year.
