A Community Clean-up, organized by the Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee, is planned for Saturday, March 7, starting at 8:30 a.m.
Interested residents are invited to gather at 8:30 a.m. the Teen Center, located at 555 Tiger Ln. (off South Water Street). All necessary equipment, including safety vests, trash pickers and bags, will be provided by the City of Monticello. Participants will be assigned one of many locations around town to clean up.
Afterwards, all helpers are welcome to enjoy grilled hotdogs with all the fixin's. For more information, email democratsofjeffersoncounty.com.
