
Dirty Pecan enjoys 10th year

On Saturday, March 1, hundreds of nature-loving cyclists took to the clay roads of North Florida and South Georgia for a full day of bicycling and sight-seeing as they participated in this year's Dirty Pecan Gravel Bike Ride, an annual event that helps sponsor the local 4-H program. Over the last 10 years of hosting this event, Dirty Pecan has brought in $200,000 for 4-H.
This year saw the registration of 478 registered bicyclists, twice as many as last year's ride. Each cyclist signed up for the ride length of their choice, and of these cyclists, 102 of them registered for the 40 mile route, 169 registered for the 60 mile route, 54 registered for th
