Disoriented and injured local man found in woods

On Wednesday, Feb. 28, local officials received a 911 call from a local man in distress. Jefferson County Fire Rescue (JCFR) and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) responded to the call, and ventured into a wooded area of the county to locate and assist the man, who was elderly, disoriented and reportedly unable to walk due to an injury he sustained while out in the woods.
According to a press release provided by JCSO, Detective Alfredo Brown (JCSO), Det. Parise Adams (JCSO), Det. Jairamy Goode (JCSO), Lt. Justin Cosper (JCFR), PMP Kyle Collins (JCFR), Lt. Tommy Arthur (JCFR), and EMT Isaac Coston (JCFR) arrived on scene to search the woods
