Tenth graders at Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) got hands-on with science during the week of Monday, March 9.
In their biology class with Ms. Tharpe, the students learned about human anatomy by designing their own replica “Anatomy Men.”
These anatomical designs required the students to study and research human bone structures, the nervous system, internal organs and other aspects that are involved in the design of the human body.
Meanwhile, the seventh graders at ACA completed their study on mollusks and were able to move on to another interesting part of scientific study: dissection.
Before Spring Break, the seventh graders were able to conduct a dissection of a crayfish as part of their science course.
