The Jefferson County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is in need of the community's support as their first annual fundraiser yard sale approaches on July 18.
The fundraiser event will support CERT's attendance of the upcoming Florida CERT Association Conference, as well as enable them to purchase much-needed supplies for their assistance during disasters, emergencies and public events. The yard sale, which will be held at the Waukeenah Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall (81 Methodist Church Rd.), invites locals to support CERT while taking home something for their own home.
To ensure the yard sale is well-stocked, donations of items such as household goods, clothing, small appliances, bags, small furniture, shoes, dishes, toys and more are needed.
