Donations sought for school supplies giveaway

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Even as summer blazes along, the community is already gearing up for the start of school in August. United Force of Jefferson County, Inc. has begun collecting school supplies for their 5th Annual Back-to-School Refill Your Backpacks Community Event, planned for Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in partnership with Restored Glory Christian Center, located at 1287 S. Jefferson St. (Winn Dixie plaza). They invite groups and individuals in the community to come together with them in a coordinated effort to meet the back-to-school needs of local families.
