Don’t mess with the IRS

Have you ever noticed that when you combine the two words, “THE” and “IRS,” it spells “THEIRS”? The Eiffel Tower, someone has said, is the Empire State Building after taxes.
I suppose that most of us are smart or intimidated enough to not mess with the IRS. Not only can the IRS come after us when we fail to pay our taxes but the penalties that they add on can be soul‐sucking. As someone else has said, “Don’t cheat the government unless you look
