However, teaching reading can be a challenge, and other difficulties, such as with reading comprehension, may come up. Some children may also find reading to be uninteresting, and in that case, one of the most helpful things a parent can do is try to instill an interest in the topic. This struggle is well known, and that is why our local library offers a free monthly event called ABC-123 Family Reading Night to help boost your child's literacy skills and help them have fun with reading!
