This Friday evening, Experience Monticello is hosting the first of what they say will be an annual St. Patrick's Day block party, and all are welcome to attend. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy live music, food, a beer garden, bounce house fun, face painting and more, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
This event is family friendly, and will be set up along Cherry Street in downtown Monticello, as well as the spacious lawn of the Wirick-Simmons House, which is located at 230 N. Jefferson St.
Food vendors that will be present at this event include OFF GRID Crepes, Carlitos Way Food Truck, The Weenie Wagon, Kona Ice, and BFF Gourmet Kettle Corn.
