Downtown is home to new soap shop

Kathy Egan ECB Publishing, Inc. On Thursday, Sept. 18, there was a large crowd gathered at 262 Cherry Street to welcome a new downtown business. Emily Pepperman, the owner of Monticello Soap Company, in conjunction with the Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, held an open house from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Numerous people were excited to gather and visit with old friends and new faces alike.
