Drug possession yields one and a half years

When Tyshira Davis, 28, of Lamont, Fla., had her day in court on Monday, Feb. 5, she probably did not receive the outcome for which she was hoping. She appeared before the Hon. Wesley R. Douglas in the Madison County Courthouse, facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
The case stems from an arrest made just after midnight on Sept. 30, 2023. According to a report from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), a vehicle in which Davis was a passenger passed a marked MCSO patrol car with an inoperable tag light.
