Duke to cut rates again in June - ECB Publishing, Inc.

The company announced the rate decrease on Monday, April 8, saying that it plans to lower residential electric rates by almost $6 per 1,000 kWh in June, or $5 less than the $11 per 1,000 kWh rate decrease that it implemented in January. Similarly, the company said that typical commercial and industrial customers would see a bill decrease between 3.5 percent and 7.0 percent, varying based on factors, such as industry type and differences in customer use patterns.
