Dwight Jay Anglin, 69, passed away on April 27, 2021 in Tallahassee, Fla. Dwight was born September 19, 1951 to J.W. Anglin and Mary Frances Clyatt Anglin in Barstow, Cali.
Dwight was a kind, compassionate man who loved every minute he had with his dear wife, Janice. He worked as an Agricultural Inspector with the State of Florida for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and growing flowers. He was very thoughtful and enjoyed giving gifts to family members throughout the year. Dwight was drawn to the water and loved visiting rivers, beaches and nearby lakes. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren as often as possible. Family gatherings were especially important to Dwight. He dearly loved his family and took delight in playing jokes on his siblings.
Dwight was preceded in death by his wife: Janice Humphrey Anglin; his parents: J.W. Anglin and Mary Frances Clyatt Anglin; his brother: Johnny Anglin; and his infant sister: Beverly Anglin.
He is survived by his children: Casey Anglin, Becky Anglin, Wendy Silvernell (Gary), Amy Johnson (Chuck), Chris Beasley (Laura); his siblings: Evelyn Tooley-Cauley (Jim), Cindy Couchigian, Roger Anglin (Cindy), Rick Anglin (Theresa), Kevin Anglin (Tracy), Brian Anglin (Carol); his grandchildren: Andy Anglin, Jessica Silvernell, Trey Silvernell, Anderlyn Johnson, Alana Burton, Hunter Johnson; his great grandchildren: Ava Johnson, and Owen Burton, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Roy Dickey officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Madison.
