Elections office grants audit triggered by charges against Tyler McNeill

The Florida Department of State's Division of Elections is currently conducting an audit of four grants awarded to the Supervisor of Elections Office for Jefferson County during 2020-2022. The audit was initiated as a result of the arrest in September of 2023 of Justin “Tyler” McNeill on charges of Grand Theft and Organized Scheme to Defraud the citizens of Jefferson County while he was in the position of Deputy Clerk of Court for Jefferson County.
