Elizabeth Louise (Betty Lou) Spaulding Hill passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Lloyd, with burial following at Oakfield Cemetery in Monticello. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to service at Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s name may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lloyd, P.O. Box 335, Lloyd, Fla. 32337.
Betty was born October 11, 1930 in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio to Walter Louis and Ruth Irene Chasteen Spaulding. She married Russell Solomon Hill on May 4, 1952. They were married for 59 years until his death on June 14, 2011. Betty had many and various employments over her lifetime, most recently retiring from State of Florida, Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Sue Hennessey; cousins, Dennis Wheeler (Linda), and Richard (Lynn) Isaacs; and her God Child, Catherine Madden McLamb.
