Emma Irene Johnson Branch, 74, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care, Tallahassee, Fa.
She was born in Dickenson County, Va.; daughter of the late Taft and Bonnie Lucille Fields Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Branch; and two brothers: Lee Johnson and Raymond Johnson. Emma loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Greg Hill and wife, Lia of Monticello, Fla.; Bobby Hill and wife, Dena of Lexington, S.C.; Sherry Odom and husband, Tony of Thomasville, Ga.; Chris Branch and wife, Becky of Monticello, Fla.; and Jerrie Lynn Tyre of Thomasville, Ga.; one brother, Charlie Ken Johnson of Douglasville, Ga.; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services and Interment for Emma Irene Johnson Branch were conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Va. with Rev. Arville Dingus officiating. Family and friends met at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Honorary Pallbearers were Eric Mobley, Brandon Hill, Corey Hill, Jordan Odom, Connor Hill, Gage Odom, and Jeffrey Hill.
The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, at Castlewood Funeral Home in Castlewood, Va.
