Equipping Christians for combating evil

In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he begins his conclusion by telling them about the equipment they will need to combat evil in this world and their lives. Using the armor of a Roman soldier, Paul illustrates the equipment the Christian will need to defend their faith, remain “strong in the Lord” and to be able to “stand firm” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
