Ethics Commission clears Supt. Tricquet

A press release from the State of Florida Commission on Ethics dated Wednesday, Oct. 30, included the following statement regarding a complaint that had been made against Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools Eydie Tricquet: “No probable cause was found to believe Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools Eydie Tricquet misused her official position to benefit herself or another person when she appeared in a promotional video to share her experience with a product that had been purchased and used by the district.” The Commission had held a full evidentiary hearing on the matter on Friday, Oct. 18, according to Tricquet.
