The Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce has its monthly member luncheon at noon at First Methodist Church Family Ministry Center (325 W. Walnut St.) in Monticello. City Manager Kurt Mackiewicz is scheduled to speak. The catered lunch costs $15, which can be paid at the door or online at www.monticellojeffersonfl.com.
Shepherd's Hands Free Health Clinic is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church (425 N. Cherry), offering eligible patients medical examinations, testing for diabetes, urinalysis, screening for eye problems and an EKG unit for heart monitoring by licensed medical professionals and trained volunteers.
FEBRUARY 4 (Wednesday)
Eagle's Wings Food Pantry distributes donated food from 9 to 10:30 a.m. until the food is gone, at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall (290 E. Dogwood St.).

“A Two Man Wildlife Art Show” opens at Jefferson Arts Gallery (575 W. Washington), with a reception from noon until 4 p.m. Meet the artists, Nathaniel Pye and John Isaacs, and enjoy refreshments with other local art enthusiasts. Following the opening, the exhibit will remain on display through Feb. 28 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The 2026 Red Hills Fire & Nature Festival takes place 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Tall Timbers Research Station (13078 Henry Beadel Dr, Tallahassee). This public event is a family-friendly day learning about prescribed fire, wildlife and land stewardship. Please leave pets at home. See live prescribed fire demonstrations at noon and 2 p.m.

Casa Bianca M. B. Church (1097 Waukeenah Hwy.) celebrates the 29th anniversary of Pastor Rev. Tobbie Berrian III and First Lady Sharon Berrian at 11 a.m. Bishop Wilbur Berrian of Gethsemane Universal Holiness Church in Valdosta, Ga., is the guest speaker. The public is welcome and a fellowship meal will be served after the service.
