A Women History Month Celebration Service takes place at 10 a.m. at New Bethel A.M.E. Church (6496 Ashville Hwy.) with Rev. Georgiana Barker, pastor or Junious Hill M.B. Church, as the guest speaker.
Pastor Pedro McKelvin and the congregation of Welaunee M.B. Church (75 Avalon Side Rd. in Lamont) invite the community to its 130th Church Anniversary Celebration at 3 p.m. The guest pastor will be Rev. Louise Wallace, along with the Mt. Morilla M.B. Church of Lamont.
