Everyone is invited to a Community Clean-up starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Teen Center (555 Tiger Ln.). This event is organized by the Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee, with all needed equipment provided by the City of Monticello. Afterwards, enjoy grilled hotdogs with all the fixin's. An exhibit of paintings by two of the original Florida Highwaymen – Curtis Arnett and R.L. Lewis – opens, with refreshments from noon until 4 p.m. at Jefferson Arts Gallery (575 W. Washington). The exhibit continues through March 24 during regular hours, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Philadelphia M.B. Church (555 Fulford Rd.) celebrates its 6th Pastoral Anniversary honoring Rev. Orenthya J. Sloan. The 11 a.m. service will feature Pastor Reginald Bennett as the guest speaker and the Holy Ghost Revival Center. The 3 p.m. service will feature Elder Greg McSwain as the guest speaker, the Elizabeth M.B. Church from Quincy, and The Angelic Voices.
