Extension office welcomes new director

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. This June, Michael Sneed Jr. joined the faculty of UF/IFAS Extension in the roles of 4-H Agent and County Extension Director for Jefferson County. He fills the vacancy left by John Lilly, who recently retired after more than 30 years at the local extension office. A native of North Florida, Sneed had his first experience of 4-H during high school in nearby Perry, Fla., where the program fed his dreams and opened his eyes to the possibility of going to colleg
