Farm Bureau announces 2024 CARES awards

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The Florida Farm Bureau recently recognized this year's recipients of This Farm CARES awards in 16 counties inside the Suwannee River Basin. The regional celebration drew more than 600 families and community members to Live Oak, Fla., on May 2, 2024. For Jefferson County, congratulations go to Hunter Horne of Great Mark Western LLC and Mac Finlayson of E. H. Finlayson and Son Farm for their exemplary efforts to implement practices that protect Florida's natural resources.
