Fatal crash on Hwy. 59 - ECB Publishing, Inc.

A single-car crash near Wacissa around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, resulted in the death of the driver, a 42-year-old man from Crawfordville, Fla., the lone occupant of the vehicle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the vehicle was traveling southbound on State Road 59 approaching Fanlew Road when it failed to negotiate a left curve and traveled onto the west shoulder. When the driver overcorrected back onto the roadway, the vehicle crossed both lanes and went onto the east shoulder while rotating counterclockwise.
