First Watermelon Festival Kickoff Block Party held

The 2025 Watermelon Festival saw the start of something new on June 6 with the introduction of the Kickoff Block Party to the lineup of festival events, sponsored by the Monticello Police Department and Kelly & Kelly Properties. Following the BBQ Dinner at the Opera House, attendees headed over to Mulberry Street for watermelon-themed fun, including including the
